Welcome to the Around the World on Wednesday hop, where the Team have been creating One for the Boys. Masculine cards can often bring their challenges, as we favour the pretty florals and other girly images. Thankfully, Stampin’ Up! have brought out some great new sets that work perfectly well for both male and female recipients alike.

Today I team together the new Brewed for you Stamp Set with a carry over set called Nothing’s Better Than. These two sets together bring about such fun.
With a masculine card needed for a young adult, I decided to pull in the beer glasses and jug from the Brewed for you set. Stamping the glasses with Basic Grey ink, softened the otherwise harsh black image I may have otherwise used. To help fill the glasses, I used So Saffron ink, which is a great Beer colour. Inking up the lower part of the glass contents, simulated a glass already being used, with others lined up.
The Stamp Set offers coordinating Dies for die cutting these images, along with the foam created on top.
Randomly stamping a sentiment from Nothing’s Better Than, to the background, made for a playful scene that I splattered with white ink. The new Starry Sky Designer Series Paper, coordinated perfectly with the Cardstock and Matt Embellishments.
Adding Detail
Adding a slight curve to the glasses with my bone folder and a Dimensional to the back, helps give true curved shape to the glasses. The jug was stamped and die cut from Soft Suede Cardstock.
Wanting a punchy sentiment, I decided to heat emboss white on Crushed Curry cardstock, which works so well with the blue.
