The Stampin’ Fancy Friday Team have taken on the challenge of sharing 7 Days of Scrapbooking with you. A challenge that we hope you’ll enjoy. Throughout the 7 days, we will each share as many pages as we are able and this is Day Two.

Very much a novice to Scrapbooking, I have had many a photograph that I’d love to scrapbook about. I’ve never known where to start … our son’s birth and work through the years? … but no, my seasoned scrapbooking friends tell me to simply take a photo that appeals and make a start.
Meet Crumble
Crumble is our son’s much loved soft toy. His companion has been a part of his life from a very young age. It was when I saw this photo of Bertie waving with Crumble in his hand, that I knew I needed to use the Happy Forest Friends Suite.
The Happy Forest Friends Designer Series Paper, set the colour palette for this page. Cutting a panel of the forest to set the scene, I started to plot my layout.
An ode to Crumble, his name had to appear with some dimension. Using the Playful Alphabet Dies that recently retired, I cut his name mounted onto adhesive foam sheeting. The various die cut Tailor Made Tags, teamed with the papers used for the word Crumble.
The watercolour wash from the Oceanfront Stamp Set was used to stamp a blue sky in strategic places of this layout. Using Balmy Blue helped team up with Bertie’s shirt.
I couldn’t resist but stamp the main bear using Sahara Sand and have him waving back at us. Little touches of this layout are hand cut from the Designer Series Paper and added for detail.
Elements of the sentiments came from the new He’s All That set and the soon to retire, Rainbow of Happiness.
I thoroughly enjoyed creating this page for this wonderful little bear. Many years of love and cuddles, this bear is now 11 years old and still going strong.
