This is Day Seven of the Stampin’ Fancy Friday Team’s 7 Days of Scrapbooking challenge. I share my Craft Room, the space where all of what I share, originates.
Throughout these past 7 days, we’ve been sharing as many pages as possible, using both current and retired products.
Constructed some 7 years ago with the money from my Voluntary Redundancy from Flying, came my Craft Room. It’s where all the creative magic happens and where I spend many joyful hours playing with Ink, Stamps and Paper.
From what takes place in this log cabin, I knew I needed a page with Craft Supplies. Images and wording perfect for this page, came from Crafting Forever and It Starts with Art. Both retired sets, they’ve remained in my collection and will do for many years.
On a beautifully sunny day in 2020, during Lockdown, was when these photo’s were taken. I’ve shared tears of laughter and tears of sadness from this space but most of all, my passion.
I’ve stayed up late to craft many a night, leaving hubby looking out from the house, to keep an eye on me. Surrounded by trees and birds and over looking the countryside, this cabin is sat some 50 metres away from our house. The birds often sing to me and can be heard during my Facebook Lives.
The new stamp set, Cheerful Basket offered this wonderful sentiment and cluster of craft supplies. This cabin really does fill my day with happiness. The Blends Alcohol Pens were used to colour all of the images you see on this page.
Including the Countryside
I wanted this page to have touches of the countryside by the inclusion of leaves and woodgrain plus supplies. Although Pink isn’t my favourite colour, a soft pink does appear within my Logo, which is why I selected this pink paper. This paper comes from a new Host pack called Design a Daydream. Quite fitting for what I’m creating here.
The leaves from the new Wisteria Dies were the perfect size and fall for this layout. The note pad paper from Abigail Rose teamed in beautifully with the colour palette and added further interest.
This page concludes our seven days of Scrapbooking, which I’ve thoroughly enjoyed. This won’t be the last time you’ll see Scrapbook pages from me, I will continue and very much look forward to it.
If you’d like to see the Craft Room Tour that I did during 2020, then you can still view this HERE.
