Sending Smiles across the miles

Today I’m sharing three cards I made during last week’s Facebook Live, showcasing the new Sending Smiles Stamp Set.

A wonderful Stamp Set that you can step up or step down. This first card I showed how you can step things down, using just Ink, Stamps and Paper. A delicate colour palette and some simply stamped flowers with a sentiment and this card was ready to send.

My second card, I showed how you could make use of one of the flower images to create some Wisteria. I gave this card a heavily embossed background before adding my focal point. The flower heads were stamped using first and second generation stamping and just one ink colour.

My final card was focusing more on the Dies that come with this Bundle and in particular the flowers. Using the new Stylish Shapes Dies, I stamped a very simple stacked sentiment before adding a cluster of flowers.

Before Stamping leaves to the card matting layer, I added a hue of So Saffron ink using a Blending Brush. The flowers were added either flat or upon Dimensionals to add interest. A panel of Fresh Freesia Designer Series Paper was added, pulling in all of the colours used.

Stitched Shape Dies v Stylish Shapes Dies

You can see the slight difference between the two sets by this photo. On the outside edges you can see the old Stitched Shape Dies (minus the ovals) and on the inside are the dies found in the new Stylish Shapes Dies.

The new Stylish Shapes are very slightly bigger and the stitching detail, a slightly different shape.
