You Can Create it with Slimline Envelopes

You Can Create it this month with our Quarterly Papercraft kit using Stampin’ Up!’s Slimline Envelopes.

This month’s kit we had these Slimline Envelopes to create with, along with our incidental supplies.

I decided to turn my envelope into a slider card, using the envelope as the outer casing that I’d decorate.

Cutting off the flap, I set to embellishing what would have been the back of the envelope. This allowed for a slight V to the front opening, which gave space for the ribbon.

Having not broken into my Iconic Dies, I was eager to make use of them.

The Harvest Nature stamp set gave me the splatter image that I stamped in Soft Succulent behind the die cut fern shapes. I die cut the toadstool images from basic white card, except for the tops, which I cut from scraps of Real Red cardstock. In the absence of this colour cardstock, you could colour the top using Stampin’ Blends, like I coloured the rest of it.

I used the Ivory and Bronze Stampin’ Blends for the base and added Soft Suede and Basic Black to the underside of the red canopy. Using the outside edge of the die, I drew around the image and fussy cut in white to add white cardstock behind the red.

A simple, coordinated internal card was created to match that I added the Soft Succulent Ribbon to. This assisted in pulling out the card for reading.

I liked the playful relaxed look of how these sat together. I created another to top my little gift box.

The sentiment on this card front was taken from Nature’s Harvest and was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed Gold.
