Stamping Sunday – Last Chance

Welcome to the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop where this month we share our inspiration with items from the Last Chance offering. I decided to use the From All of Us Stamp set, that I’d been colouring with our Watercolour Pencils.

Starting with the background paper patterns from the Beauty of the Earth pack, on the Last Chance list, I created a background scene. Cutting a strip of woodgrain paper to represent a tree I created a curve with a Bone Folder and added Dimensionals within the belly of the tree.

Black Memento stamped on Basic White cardstock enabled me to colour the From all of us image with Watercolour Pencils. Once fussy cut, I took a bone folder to the image and curved this also.

Some Grey shading added beneath the animals on the grass gave a realistic shadow.

Simplifying the design, I focused on just one animal backing it with a woodgrain die cut label. The label came from the Hippo Happiness Bundle, which is where the bow tie came from.
