Love to get versatility from your stamp sets? Well, the Cactus Cuties isn’t just for Cactus building. I show here how you can use the images to create a Cactus Cuties Flower.
Making the card base colour teamed with the flower helped bring a coherent feel. Repeated stamping of the three leaf image generated flower petals that were fussy cut. The same image was stamped and cut in Granny Apple Green to create leaves. Texture was easily achieved with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. The Cactus Builder Punch offers a great sized shape for a flower centre.
A Stitched Rectangle made the perfect anchor for this focal point. This was where I decided to stamp my sentiment, which I kept simple. A panel of Designer Series Paper is a great way of introducing another pattern or tonal colour.
I so enjoyed creating this card, which used the Cactus Cuties Stamp set, yet there’s not a Cactus in sight. A few final sequin embellishments and my card was complete.
I hope I’ve inspired you to look at your Cactus Cuties stamp set with different eyes.
