The Let’s Get Hopping Team are Making in Multiples this month and I focus on the Split Card Technique.
With our hop now over on Instagram, you’ll be wise to follow my link at the bottom for more inspiration. I detail the link below that will help take you there. where we’ll now be taking part in an Instahop.
This month we are making multiples and I decided to create using the Split Card Technique. This technique helps create two cards at once. With a panel the size of the front of two cards, you adhere your die cut flowers down the middle.
You can achieve one pass with our All in Bloom Hybrid Embossing Folder and Die set. I stamped the flowers with Bumblebee Ink, tone on tone before introducing the Hybrid system.
With extra flowers, I was able to add more to the bottom before peppering in skeleton leaves. At this point, I cut the entire panel down the middle to form my two card fronts.
The Amazing Thanks Dies were used with Adhesive Foam sheets to help add depth. I sat these words upon a vellum layer for interest.

The Brushed Metallic embellishments dots were the perfect size to add to the flower centres.

An elegant colour palette that’s unfussy and ever so simple to create.
Be sure to get yourself over to my Instagram account to follow our new Instahop around and see the rest of the inspiration by the Team. We’ve some wonderful inspiration to help you create multiples this month.
