Have you warmed to the Cactus Cuties like I have? You need not always stamp Cactus plants though, you could turn the cactus leaves into a stunning sunflower like I have.
Repeatedly stamping and fussy cutting the three leaf image in Mango Melody, I was able to create a circle of petals. A few extras in Granny Apple Green tucked behind gave the appearance of leaves.
It was the centre of this flower that I loved the most. To achieve this, I stamped the shorter cactus image over a stitched scalloped die cut circle shape from the Tasteful Labels Dies. Cinnamon Cider was the perfect colour for this.
A layered panel of Dry Embossed basic white and a strip of patterned paper formed the background. The Biggest wish stamp set brought about this bold and happy sentiment for this card. The Denim Ribbon added to this playful feel.
It’s so satisfying when you find something else that can be created from a set you only see one thing for. I hope you’ll see it’s well worth the effort of fussy cutting these images to create such a fun flower.
