The Around the World on Wednesday Team are telling you to … Layer Up ! this month.
Welcome to this month’s hop where we are layering things up with our inspiration.
I know that many will smile at my choice of colour today but I really was drawn to this vibrant Polished Pink Designer Series Paper to cover my card base with. A layer of Vellum helps to lessen the intensity of this colour by softening it.
A secondary layer came from the large stitched ticket from the Sports Event Dies that I stamped on using Flowers of Friendship. Stamping in Black Memento Ink, I was able to colour using our Alcohol Blends pens.
By stamping and fussy cutting or stamping and punching, I was able to layer up some of the flowers to give dimension.
These flowers encircled a Black label from the same Sports Event Dies, that I heat embossed White and elevated with Dimensionals.
Staggered layers and multiple flowers layered up, this layout is an easily repeatable one, which I hope you like.

You just can’t beat hot pink and black as a vibrant combo. This is fabulous. Love the layering of the flowers to create such a sense of depth. I had completely overlooked the versatility of the sports labels.
Oh my goodness you so need the Sport Events Dies for labels … they are fabulous. I didn’t buy the coordinating stamp set but I adore the Dies xx
