Today I share a set of three cards that I made and shared during a recent online Catalogue Launch party.
Since the beginning of the Covid Pandemic, I have been running joint online Catalogue Launch Parties with the fabulously talented Tanya Rees from Australia. Tanya and I both served on the Artisan Design Team in 2019 and have remained friends ever since.
During our recent mini Catalogue Launch, we each showcased new product. I had the pleasure of showcasing the Rainbow of Happiness Bundle. Inspired by a card on Pinterest back during lockdown, I set to casing it with Stampin’ Up! products.
It was the colour scheme that first drew me to the image that I saw, a rustic colourway that wasn’t traditional rainbow colours. Teaming up the Rainbow of Happiness bundle with the Give it a Whirl Dies, seemed a match made in heaven. I adore all things stitched, so to have stitched clouds and sun was music to my ears.
Often we forget items from the Annual Catalogue when a new mini catalogue comes along but I love how they pair up so beautifully. To create a Rainbow we need sunshine and rain, so beautifully the Silver and Clear Epoxy Essentials were perfect for rain drops.
Bringing something to brighten your day
Using the same Colour Scheme, I set to a second card with a surprise inside of a pop up Rainbow. It sure was a little something to brighten my day. I really enjoyed sharing these cards.
To create the internal pop up element, you simply create an internal card layer and create right angle pop outs. This is where you adhere your images.
The stitched clouds and sunshine from the Give it a Whirl Die pack work so well with this bundle. The non stitched smaller clouds from the Rainbow Dies were perfect for the inside of the card.
Working with the dies from the Rainbow of Happiness Bundle, I pulled in some Gold Foil. This card was made as a collage of die cut shapes for an abstract feel.
