Cactus Cuties Hot Air Balloon Note Card

Do you see Hot Air Balloons when you look at the Cactus Cuties Stamp Set like me? I couldn’t resist but create a simple countryside card using Oceanfront and Cactus Cuties for my recent Stamp-a-Stack.

Last weekend I held my in-person Stamp-a-Stack event at Kettering Park Hotel & Spa in Northamptonshire, where I’ve held them for many years now. We had a great day creating 24 cards / 12 designs using Cactus Cuties Bundle and the Oceanfront stamp set. Yesterday I held my virtual version of this event, where we make half the quantity via Zoom.

I group the designs into sets of three, with the first peeled back to a simple stamped card and those that follow requiring a little more involvement. This card was one of those quick and simple cards. Stamp, inks, paper and some ribbon.

When I first saw the Cactus Cuties Stamp Set I saw a Hot Air Balloon and just had to find a suitable card to add them to. Teaming up this stamp set with the fabulous Oceanfront seemed the obvious conclusion and I’m delighted with the outcome.

The ropes and basket were simply added using a Stampin’ Write Marker and hand drawn. The Rainbows & Sunshines Designer Series Paper were used throughout the course of the day. These papers were earned for FREE with the order of the Cactus Cuties Bundle and the Oceanfront Stamp Set. They are fabulous papers filled with Rainbows but it was nice to use the alternative patterns with my series of designs.

We cut a soft and simple banner using the polka dot Soft Sea Foam paper for this background. A quick and simple card that would make for a great Note Card or used for many other occasion.
