You Can Create it with Whimsy and Wonder

You Can Create it this month with our Quarterly Papercraft kit using Stampin’ Up!’s Whimsy and Wonder Papers.

This month’s kit we had to play with, comprised of papers from the Whimsy and Wonder Suite. I decided to create a few festive Thank you cards.

Cutting a white panel the same width as the Wintry 3D Embossing Folder, I set to adding some Blushing Bride Ink with a blending brush before embossing. With a strip of white cardstock, I added organic looking stripes using a Mint Macaron Blends Pen. Cutting this in half, ensured a clean edge to adhere to my cardbase fold.

Adding a strip of Blushing Bride Ribbon to the left side of my embossed panel gave a beautiful separation that I then adhered flat.

The Delicate Baubles Bundle was used to die cut the solid Designer Series Paper baubles from the Whimsy and Wonder papers. A plain white detailed bauble was die cut for each shape to layer over the top. I find Liquid Glue being an ideal adhesive to adhere the two together. Cutting the Wonderful Snowflake in half, allowed me to adhere half to each card to sit just behind the bauble. 

The Holly used was fussy cut from the second layer of Designer Series Paper and adhered with a glue dot and a twine bow added.

A simple Thank you sentiment was stamped in the coordinating Mint Macaron Ink. A simple layout achieved with a beautiful bundle and some equally beautiful papers.
