Stampin’ Fancy Friday – Birthday Challenge

The Stampin’ Fancy Friday Challenge this month had us creating for a Birthday Challenge.

With a Birthday Challenge I turned my hand to flowers, since I absolutely love flowers as a gift. I decided to go for a serene no-line image to colour from the Daisy Garden Stamp. Stamping the image using our Stamparatus and Versamark ink, gave me the outline that was softer to work with. The Sahara Sand cardstock base gave a calming background for the Daisies to sit upon.

Working with our beautifully soft Watercolour Pencils, I set to colouring the entire image. Layering colours helped give depth and richness to the leaves and flower centres.

The Stampin’ Up! Chalk Marker is a great pen to help add highlights of white to your projects.

Such a serene image needed for a simple bold sentiment that I heat embossed white onto black cardstock.
