Today I share a fun and quirky Birthday Card that I made using the Hello Beautiful stamp set and Sunshine & Rainbows DSP.
Wanting a young, fun and vibrant card, I set to making a slice of rainbow cake. The stripes are perfectly fitting for a striped cake, with each colour a new layer of sponge.
A faux plate was die cut from Pool Party using dies from the Hello Beautiful Bundle. Coordinating colours helped pull the colour theme together. The random images within this bundle were perfect for creating the polka dot background and candle.
The stitched rectangle and triangle created the quirky angle of the icing. To create a frosted look, I embossed these pieces with the Painted Texture Embossing Folder. This fun vibrant card needed a fun and relaxed font for the sentiment. The Happy Birthday sentiment found in the Sweet Ice Cream Stamp set was the perfect pairing. Heat embossing this sentiment gave that special touch to this celebration card.
