The All Star Tutorial Design Team have been playing with the New Sweet Talk Suite for this month’s Tutorial.
Twelve Video Tutorials complete with Imperial and Metric measurements for you to enjoy, using the Sweet Talk Suite. This Blog Hop features yet more inspiration using this suite of products. The projects within are not those you’d see within the Tutorial Bundle, which are exclusive to that Bundle.
Looking at the images available in the Sweet Conversations Stamp Set, I saw simplicity. In fact, it’s hard to believe just how simple this card is to create.
A love letter to my Valentine, started with a white matting layer. Adhering 1/4″ strips of Real Red and Pacific Point cardstock diagonally across this layer until it was covered, I trimmed off the excess. Making use of the lines on my Grid sheet helped me to keep the stripes straight.
On a smaller white matting layer, I set to stamping the images and sentiment with Real Red and Basic Gray Ink. By Inking up the middle section of the Happy Valentine’s Day sentiment, I was able to add the work Valentines as my postage stamp. The main focal sentiment looked just like an address to me and that was exactly where my inspiration for this card came from.
Want to step this up?
If you have the Stitched Rectangle Dies, you could step this card up by cutting the top matting layer with a suitable sized Rectangle Die.

Love the simplicity of your card, simple but so effective!
Thank you Sue, I was quite nervous about putting this out for it’s simplicity … but I equally wanted to show that sometimes simplicity sings just as much x
Very clever! I didn’t know what to do with those lines. LOL
