Creation Station – Specialty Papers

Welcome to the Creation Station Blog Hop, where this month we are sharing inspiration using Specialty Papers.

If you’ve hopped over from Vicki Boucher then you’re sure to have been spoilt to some fabulous inspiration.

I just love the Gold Foil touches found in the Blackberry Beauty Specialty Papers from the Mini Catalogue. I decided to create three Thank you cards using these beautiful papers for this hop. This first card simply allows the paper to do all the singing. Teamed with a strip of Blackberry Bliss Ribbon, some Gold Trim and a sentiment panel from the Ephemera pack. A simple little card but one where the Gold Foil does all the talking.

My second card had me bring more gold elements from the Ephemera Pack and brought in the Gold Shimmer Vellum from this suite to pull the colours together.

The imagery of this paper was the focal point with added touches of the the gold laser cut pieces. Still a very simple little card with additional layers and pieces for interest.

My final card sees the addition of die cut leaves from the Shimmery Gold Vellum to tie in with the paper pattern used.

The Sentiment panel was again pulled from the Ephemera Pack and married up with a Blackberry Bliss Ribbon Bow.

Three fairly peeled back cards for me, that each allow the Specialty papers to do all the singing.
