Welcome to the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop where this month we inspire as the Season Turns.
Welcome to our Blog Hop today and to a month where we share inspiration of our changing Seasons. Here in the UK, we’ve moved into Autumn and our months of Harvest, Halloween and generally colder winter wooly months.
With people staying snuggled up in doors, we need to make more effort in the colder months to say Hello to our friends. With that in mind, I set to creating a set of three cards to send a simple Hello to a friend or two.
This card really is a simple peeled back card. One image from the Banner Year Stamp set was stamped across the cardbase before my focal point being stamped. A bold Hello from Biggest Wishes with a Pumpkin sat on top.
Wanting a whole field of pumpkins, I set to stamping the pumpkin from Banner Year repeatedly over a white matting layer. Stamping some spare ones, I fussy cut one to add to my sentiment panel. Pulling in the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch, I was able to stamp my Hello in Soft Suede to add to my card.
My third card sees me step things up a little as I Knit Together a few more products and techniques.
Using the Knit Together Background stamp, I stamped a knitted background panel. As the Season Turns, we move towards warmer layers and knitwear.
Adding some Pear Pizzazz ink randomly to a panel of Pear Pizzazz cardstock, I die cut the largest die from the Beautiful Leaves Die set. I probably only used about half of it though. Other than Heat Embossing my Hello Gold, the sentiment panel was created in the same way as my last card.
A scattering of some Champagne Rhinestones and my card selection was complete.
I hope you enjoyed my share today. Do hop around and say a happy hello to the rest of the team.
Enjoy and Happy Stamping
