Let’s Get Hopping #47 Non Traditional Christmas

The Let’s Get Hopping Team are celebrating with a Non Traditional Christmas this month. 

Welcome to the Hop and an abundance of inspiration from the Let’s Get Hopping Design Team. We are bringing you everything that’s non traditional about Christmas. If you’ve hopped over from the lovely Shelly Wadge, then you’ll have already seen some fabulous inspiration. I hope I can bring you yet more.

For me, I bring you a contemporary mix of pink and turquoise stripes with a heat embossed vellum festive flower.

Making use of the Words of Cheer Bundle, I stamped the floral image twice onto a sheet of vellum using Versamark and heat embossed White. Die cutting these two floral images, that would sit diagonal across my tall, slender DL Card.

I was drawn to this colour palette of Polished Pink, Melon Mambo, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay and Gold Foil. Bright and fun, I cut strips of cardstock to create this diagonal striped layer, leaving white stripes showing throughout.

A joyful sentiment seemed quite fitting that I added with a white on black panel to stand out.

The Blue tinged Gems used, coordinated beautifully with this colour theme and pulled all the colours together.
