The Around the World on Wednesday Team have been creating for the Changing Seasons.

This month’s theme for our Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop is Changing Seasons. I love living in the UK where we have four Seasons of weather. Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter, I adore how the leaves on the trees change colour and our view with it.
With this in mind, I pulled out a Bundle that I’ve had for a little while from our Annual Catalogue called Love of Leaves. It offers a watercolour image with Stitched leaf dies, which is a winning combination in my eyes.
Stampin’ Up!’s Stampin’ Write Markers were perfect for this project. For some leaves I inked up using an ink pad and the rock and roll technique and for others, the thumping technique. By spritzing water over the surface of the image, I was then able to transfer to watercolour paper giving a beautiful finish. Once dried, I die cut using the coordinating stitched leaf die.
Picking a larger focal leaf helped give balance to this collage which I anchored onto a woodgrain banner.
With a coordinating Stitched Greenery Die, I was able to carry the theme over to the background panel of Early Espresso.
I love this sentiment and teamed with leaves, seemed so fitting.
