Christmas Jumpers have become a big thing throughout the festive season, so the new Knit Together Bundle really appealed to me.
It may not look much in the new Mini Catalogue and is easily over looked but I love it. I decided to CASE the catalogue, merging two samples to create a version of my own. I created this card for a Swap last weekend, when I finally had a chance to meet up with my Team, the Stampin’ STYlettes. It had been a long while since we were together and a good proportion of us me at a hotel to simply craft together and have a good long overdue catch up. It was wonderful.
Be that I can’t knit, I figure that if I started now, I’d probably have my Christmas Jumper finished just in time. This card is a great way of me fulfilling that jumper challenge. Stamped in any colour of your choice, you really could go to town. I chose the traditional Real Red with white and green. This ribbon is our new Evening Evergreen, a lovely rich dark green that allowed my sentiment to pop.
Using the Stamparatus, I was able to repeatedly stamp sweater based panels that I then went on to Die cut. Taping the dies in a series of layers, I was able to repeat my pattern each time I die cut.
By cutting the sentiment with Adhesive Foam Sheeting, I was able to create dimension for the word Happy, adding a simple stamped Christmas to complete my card.
