You Can Create it with Stampin' Up!'s Elegant Papers

You Can Create it this month with our Quarterly Papercraft kit using Stampin’ Up!’s Simply Elegant Papers.

This month’s kit we had to play with, comprised of the Simply Elegant Papers and we of course, had our incidental pack to pull from.

I got creative and pulled upon the Lovely You Stamp set to produce this set of cards and a gift tag. I thought the images within this stamp set blended well with the papers I had to play with.

Wanting to lift the grey cardbase and papers, I decided to use some of the Copper Foil and bring in a punchy colour. Stamping and fussy cutting a simple flower stamped in Crushed Curry, really lifted these cards.

This first card, I stamped over the Designer Series Paper to give a whole different look to it. This I teamed up with a simple embossed panel beneath.

My second card had me randomly stamp all over the cardbase/matting layer before embossing. I didn’t use Designer Series Paper on this card but pulled from my incidental pack to again lift the Basic Grey cardbase.

To complete this set of cards, I created a tag made from one of the labels found in the Stitched So Sweetly Die set. Half Basic Black and half Elegant paper and a beautiful tag was complete.

A simple trio of projects, using very basic materials, one stamp set and one die set.
