Today, the Stamping INKSpirations Team share Christmas in July. Needing help to get ahead and ready for the busy Christmas season? Look no further.
Today I welcome you to Christmas in July …. sugary sweet, playful and vibrant to help raise a smile.
If you’ve hopped on over from Alejandra, then I hope you’re feeling festive and that I’ll add yet another layer to that.
I’ve been playing with a new Stamp Set called Candy Canes, received several weeks ago for an Incentive Trip reward. Using the Stamparatus to ensure a good coverage of ink, I stamped the entire image onto a Poppy Parade matting layer with Versamark Ink and heat embossed it White.
Using our super soft Blending Brushes in circular motions, I added Real Red Ink, followed by Cherry Cobbler and a touch of Merry Merlot. Adding to the edges of this card, helped to spotlight the sentiment area. The Emboss Resist technique needs buffing with a tissue to remove any excess ink from the white heat embossed Candy Canes.
This card certainly is Jolly, so I didn’t feel any more deeded to be said. A lift of Garden Green Holly leaves and a card base of Cherry Cobbler completed this card.
A very simple card that could so easily be reproduced over and over for some quick Christmas cards.
Now do hop on over to see what JoAnne Pollock has in store for us.
Enjoy the rest of the hop and celebrating Christmas in July.
