This week’s Facebook Live saw me create with Hand-Penned Petals and a touch of Sweet as a Peach.
Inspiration is all around us and this week I took inspiration from some Birthday cards that I recently received. The colours seen in a shop bought card, gave inspiration for the colour palette of these. The colours I saw inspired this first card that I teamed up with Copper Foil Playful Alphabet lettering.
Everything started from this colour palette and the addition of the Copper Foil. By adding the lettering onto a strip of Vellum, I was able to use my grid paper to line the letters up beautifully.
Continuing with this colour palette, I CASed a card received from a dear friend and Team Member.
The leaves in the background and the blue flowers come from the Sweet as a peach stamp set and the remaining flowers, Hand-Penned Petals.
Adding a matting layer of Copper Foil had this card coordinate with my first card. The stitched scalloped panel from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies became the backdrop for my flowers.
This final card was CASed from a card I received from a lovely lady who had once attended an online class of mine. Adding a matting layer of Copper Foil and splitting the hand stamped floral layer, I created three panels. My sentiment panel in Night of Navy, was heat embossed white and some die cut flowers added.
I loved working with this colour palette and hope you like it too. A delight to create these Live for you but if you missed it and you’d like to take a look, you can still do so by clicking HERE.
