The Let’s Get Hopping Team are bringing you inspiration of a New Technique.
Welcome to the Hop and an abundance of inspiration, which I’m sure you’ll have seen if you’ve hopped on over from Alicia.
It’s always hard to come up with a New Technique but it’s never hard to resurrect a long forgotten one. I pulled upon some White cardstock scraps for inspiration that I repeatedly die cut with the Penned-flowers dies. Adding self adhesive sheet to the back, made it easier to transfer the die cut pieces to my matting layer.
Anything that I trimmed off from the edges, got stuck to other areas of the layer until it was filled. A band of striped Designer Series Paper from the Sweet as a Peach Suite was added with a Stitched scalloped edge to the bottom and a White Bakers twine bow.
Create with Friends was where I pulled the sentiment from that was stamped in Misty Moonlight and fussy cut.
A few simple Opal Round embellishments and my card was complete. A very simple technique but one that I believe is very pretty and very effective. It would make for a beautiful Lace effect Wedding Card.
It’s probably not a new technique but hopefully one that if you’ve not used, you’ll find useful. Why not try creating your own Lace effect background?
Let’s hop on over to see what inspiration Megan is sharing with us today.
Enjoy the rest of the hop and thanks for stopping by.
