Stampin’ Up! Band Together – Facebook Live

The Stampin’ Up! Band Together Bundle formed the basis of a recent Facebook Live for me. Three floral cards coloured in using our Alcohol Blends Pens.

Sadly since undertaking this Facebook Live, many of the items I have used here, have retired and sold out. You could however, still achieve a similar feel with other colours and stamp sets.

Stamping the bold flower from the Stamp Set with Memento Black Ink, I set to colouring in with Blends Pens. Using the coordinating Dies, I die cut some flower heads and fussy cut others. Additional leaves were also cut from coloured cardstock to add further interest and texture.

The Seaside Spray card base had a layer of the same colour embossed using the Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder. This layer gave interest and texture for the floral centrepiece to sit upon. A two layer sentiment sat centrally with the flowers clustered around it.

In this second card, I started by stamping tonally Seaside Spray flowers to the left side of the matting layer. Adding a simple sentiment panel, die cut from the Band Together Dies, I added another flower coloured with blends along with a strip of ribbon.

This final card started with a double matting layer where I embossed the top layer with the Greenery Embossing Folder. Setting this to one side, I added a cluster of coloured flowers down the side of the card and added another simple sentiment.

I loved how the embossed layer peeps out from behind the flowers in this card.
