All Star Tutorial Hop – Flowering Cactus Product Medley

The All Star Tutorial Design Team this month are showcasing the Flowering Cactus Product Medley.

Welcome to this month’s blog hop, where this month we are sharing our inspiration using these incredible Product Medley, Flowering Cactus. This hop gives yet more project ideas that you could create using this Medley and for me, I share this Tri-fold card and coordinating envelope.

Every time I looked at this Medley I saw Mossy Meadow as being a dark backdrop for the more vibrant colours to pop. I used the Textured Labels Dies to create the aperture and popped out the various Cactus elements from the Medley.

The tall cactus was die cut using the inclusive Dies from Pear Pizzazz, a super colour on top of Mossy Meadow. The little felt flowers in both Calypso Coral and Highland Heather, come as part of the Product Medley.

I die cut an additional label in Daffodil Delight that I inserted through the aperture having sponged up first using our fabulous Blending Brushes. I blended Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody and Calypso Coral before adding some Crumb Cake cardstock to the base.

Open the first leaf of the card to reveal this decorated panel that had a sentiment follow on to the card front.

Open the card fully and a simple white layer with a stamped flower await your handwritten message.

I used the little die cut flowers to add a closure to my envelope for a figure eight of Linen thread to secure it.

I had fun creating with this Medley and have plenty more to create with it.
