You Can Create it with Stampin’ Up!’s Hydrangea Hill

You Can Create it this month with the Papercraft kit using the Hydrangea Hill Suite.

 

Welcome to this months inspiration from the You Can Create It Team using our second packet for this quarter. This packet features sample products from the Hydrangea Hill Suite that we can team up with incidental products from our additions pack.

How I used February’s Packet

I decided to make a tri-fold card using this suite of products for something I deemed as a special occasion card.

Adding a central panel of one paper and having another pattern to the sides, allows you to showcase two patterns. I then picked out one of the colours for a sentiment panel.  Highland Heather is the colour you see behind the sentiment and as a front panel and Gorgeous Grape in the ribbon.

This sentiment comes from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set that I stamped in Night of Navy. This was a great colour to tie inn with the blue tones within the papers.

Untie the ribbon and open the card to reveal the first panel, where again I used Night of Navy for the sentiment. This sentiment, along with the Hydrangea itself, came from the Hydrangea Haven Stamp Set. Adding a strip of Designer Series Paper to the left hand edge of the inside panel helped balance out this section of the card.

Fully open and you reveal yet another Hydrangea stamped and the final to our sentiment. A super card style for a special occasion or for a card that might house photographic memories.
