Stampin’ Creative – Birthday Fun

Today, the Stampin’ Creative Team are bringing you some Birthday Fun.

Welcome to this month’s Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop where this month we’re all out on some Birthday Fun.

My Husband’s best mate of 50 years, celebrated his 60th Birthday last weekend. He’s an avid lover of Motorbikes and I wanted a card that was perfectly fitting for him. In the absence of a Stamp depicting a Motorbike, I took inspiration from a recent Ombre card that I shared.

In various shades of Grey, I created a very bold and basic ombre background that would resemble chrome on a bike. The Playful Alphabet Dies are perfect for adding a fun sentiment of choice. Wanting something quite unfussy, I decided to create an old fashioned number plate. Number plates on bikes are often square like this and set out in this way.

Happy Birth Day was created in letters with his age shown beneath. Die Cutting them from Black Cardstock stuck to Adhesive Foam helps add dimension. Fun and playful with a spot of Silver Foil for some shine from the Garage Gears Dies.

Some Birthday Fun for a young 60 year old.
