The Around the World on Wednesday Team are bringing you 3D Projects this month.
A warm welcome to all who’ve started the hop here or hopped over from my lovely friend Aurélie in France. I hope you have already enjoyed the inspiration on offer. I’m about to share yet more 3D inspiration and a set of Notecards and tags.
Having fallen in love with the Sweet Strawberry Bundle I couldn’t resist but make use of it here. I started to stamp Strawberries but decided to change things up and recreate a project I made a long while ago.
Turning the solid image of the Strawberry around, you can create this cute juicy pear. I added this to the outside of this notecard box and followed the theme through to within.
This 3D Project is ever so simple to create and a perfect little Thank you Gift. A simple box with an internal divider, I added both mini notecards and Tags.
Simple 3″ x 3″ thank you notecards with coordinating envelopes and gift tags to match, sit inside to match the box lid.
Measurements to make this box
Box Base: 8 1/4″ x 6 1/4″ scored at 1 3/8″ on all four sides with tabbed corners.
Insert of the same colour: 3 3/8″ x 7 1/2″ scored at 2″, 3 1/8″ and 4 1/4″ and folded into a W shape for inserting into the box.
The Box lid is made in pretty much the same way as the Box Base.
Lid Measurements: 5″ x 7″ scored at 3/4″ on all four sides with tabbed corners. Ensure you do your stamping before assembling into your lid.
Stamping the sentiments in Early Espresso gave an element of warmth to this project and was used for the pear’s stalk.
With a Blender Pen or a Stampin’ Write Marker I added some gentle splattering behind the pears to the box lid. To create matching envelopes is easy when you simply stamp on the flap with the same or coordinating images.
A sweet and juicy little 3D Project that I hope you have enjoyed and will make you look at the Sweet Strawberry bundle in a new light.
You can hop on over and be inspired further by Annette Ball to see what fabulous 3D project she has created for us.
Thank you for hopping by today …. Enjoy!
