With One Stamp At a Time we’ll be showing you Where the Wild Things Grow. Today we are sharing inspiration of all things that grow. From a Flowering Cactus to a pot plant or Rose the choice is ours.
Welcome to this month’s hop and to a hop with lots of botanical inspiration. Opening up Stampin’ Up!s Product Medley, Flowering Cactus, I thought I’d get creative for this hop.
Coordination is a strength for Stampin’ Up! and I just loved how the Potted Succulents Dies teamed up so well with this Medley.
The incredible full die of succulents fully covered the front of a simple slider card base, giving a great textural backdrop. Using our fabulous Blending Brushes, I blended three colours to create a glowing sunset. Crushed Curry, Calypso Coral and Magenta Madness blended and cut using Stitched Shape basic circle. This fabulous punch of colour gave the focal point for the flowering cactus to sit upon.
The tall cactus shape was die cut from Mossy Meadow cardstock and the others from the inclusive papers from this Medley. The beauty of our Product Medleys are that they include a Stamp Set, Dies, Papers and Embellishments. The little felt flowers were embellishments within this kit.
I love this tongue in cheek sentiment but it’s so incredibly fitting right now and teams so well with what’s inside.
This little gift box takes individually wrapped Tea Bags, the perfect gift for a friend in need. British people often talk things through over a cup of tea, so it seemed perfectly fitting. Embellished in the same way as the slider card, I added a few more die cut shapes from the Potted Succulents Die set.
I absolutely loved creating with this Product Medley and look forward to playing with it more. I do hope you have enjoyed what I have created and shared with you today.
