You’ve Got Mail, as we head around the world on Wednesday.
A warm welcome to all who’ve started the hop here or hopped over from my lovely friend Aurélie. You’ve Got Mail is the theme for our hop today which allows us to interpret this in many ways. For me, I turned to a new set, Pretty Perennials to create some Happy Mail.
Following a rather long and dreary January here in the UK, I wanted something that would be bright and cheerful.
This fabulous Stamp Set was designed by one of our Million Sales Achievers, Dena Rekow who is bright and cheerful herself. Starting with a Coastal Cabana base, I stamped a floral background using tone on tone stamping. A bold background but one that sure packed a cheery punch.
Adding a white banner panel, allowed a focal point for the happy sentiment. I hoped for these cards to lift the spirits of the recipients and that word happy sure is happy. The word happy and for you were stamped directly onto the panel with the addition of a heat embossed Mail raised for interest.
Stamping different coloured flowers and sizes on scraps of white cardstock allows for multi die cutting. Feeding several strips into the Cut & Emboss machine at the same time, allowed for stamped flowers and skeleton leaves to be cut together.
A length of twine and some Artistry Blooms Sequins helped embellish this cheerful little card.
I hope you have enjoyed my share with you today and that you’ll enjoy the rest of the hop.
You can hop on over the sea to be inspired further by Annette Ball and see how she has interpreted this theme.
Thank you for hopping by today …. Enjoy!
