During a recent Facebook Live I shared how I created these cards using the Snailed it stamp set. I also showed how to create these cute little heartshaped table favours.
I created two cards with this first one using up scraps as a collage style card. This style of card can be pulled together relatively quickly as you merge various shapes, textures and layers together with a focal point.
Starting with some random heart-shaped stamping to a matting layer, I then embossed this with the Subtle Embossing Folder. The remaining elements were cut from scraps or were already die cut.
Lots of layers, textures and interest on one card, this is a great way of merging different shapes together.
This second card I showed how you could use the centre of the speech bubble in the Snailed it Stamp set to form a Polka Dot background. Never throw away pieces, as they can often be of great use. This card has a flap that locks the card in place. It’s a fun fold that’s not complicated to create.
I started my Facebook Live with these cute table favours. Created from a piece of Designer Series Paper with nominal folding they are big enough to hold small chocolates.
