We’re going Around the World on Wednesday to share where Inspiration strikes.
A warm welcome to all who’ve hopped over from my lovely friend Aurélie from France and to all who have started their trip here. We are sharing where inspiration strikes and for me, it’s from many sources. Nature around us, fabrics, wallpapers, clothing but also from fellow card makers. This includes those cards sent to me that, dare I say it, have been shop bought. I often keep a handful that give me inspiration or that I’d love to recreate using Stampin’ Up! Products.
A Mum at school recently celebrated her 40th and I decided to create something that reminded me of some vibrant tattoos that I know she has. This card that I received for my 50th offered te perfect solution.
Vibrant and punchy in colour I used the Back to Back Blooms to add big bold flowers. I used the reverse side of the stamps to stamp solid leaves and pulled in a die from the Fabulous florals for some Gold Foil leaves.
The Playful Alphabet allows you to add a personalised sentiment but with the space I had left, 40 was sufficient. The white dots throughout the background were achieved by using the White Chalk Marker on the Smoky Slate cardstock.
I was really pleased with how this card turned out and I hope the recipient liked it too.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my offering of Inspiration and that you’ll hop over to see what Tina Zinck has in store for us. Enjoy the rest of the hop as we hop around the world on Wednesday.
You can hop on over the sea to be inspired further by clicking on the daisy.
Thank you for hopping by today …. Enjoy the rest of the hop.
