All Star Tutorial Hop – Fine Art Floral Suite

The All Star Tutorial Design Team this month are showcasing the new Suite, Fine Art Floral.

Welcome to this month’s blog hop from the All Start Tutorial Design Team. We’ve been designing with Fine Art Floral. This stunning Suite of products is a new release of Stampin’ Up! products from the Jan-Jun Mini Catalogue 2021.

From Papers to stamp set, Dies, to embellishments, this suite offers great opportunity to unleash the artist in you. I decided to showcase a good few of the products within this suite for this hop. This is just a taster of what you could expect from this month’s Tutorial Bundle, that’s available to purchase now, or subscribe to.

Using a basic white card base, I created a front panel using the beautiful Designer Series Papers and die cut an oval aperture. This aperture reveals a shimmery white panel that I’ve added a gentle wash of Pool Party as a backdrop to the flowers.

Two-Step Stamping and Gold Leafing

The flowers were stamped onto Shimmery White cardstock using the two-step stamping technique. Each flower is built up of stamp layers, a slightly more solid base, followed by extra detail in a darker shade. By Inking up the finer detailed image again with Versamark and using Heat and Stick, I was able to offset some Gold Leaf detailing. By adding touches of Gold Leafing to the edge of the card, pulled in the gold leafing with the flowers.

This next image really shows the beauty of this Gold Leafing and the gold within this stunning ribbon too. Based on the colours that I’ve used here, I felt that the self-adhesive sequins from Artisty Blooms worked well.
