Welcome to the Creation Station Blog Hop where we’re having some Freezin’ Fun with the theme, Ice Ice Baby.
I bet my dear friend Elizabeth Price has shared some beautiful projects using this theme. If you’ve hopped on over from her blog, then you’ll have already seen.
I broke open a new bundle to me called Freezin’ Fun that seemed only right and fitting for this hop. I sure had some fun playing with it.
Starting with a Misty Moonlight card base, I sponged up the edges using the same colour ink and darkening up using Night of Navy. This helped to create an atmospheric sky that I later added a Wink of Stella splattering.
Stamping each image with Black Memento Ink allowed me to colour using our Alcohol Blends Pens before being Die-cutting.
You couldn’t have a frosty scene without a snowflake or two. These die-cut snowflakes were taken from the So Many Snowflakes Dies pack. A few snowflake sequins were thrown in for good measure.
Our Clear Tiny Treat boxes were used to create this little treat box. Filled with snowball looking Mint Imperials, I wrapped a belly band around that I decorated just like the cards.
I had some Freezin’ Fun using this Bundle and creating for this themed hop. A really fun set of cards with real character. I hope you’ve enjoyed my offering today and I hope you’ll hop on over to see what the lovely Kathy Kartak has created for us.
Thanks for hopping by today, enjoy the rest of the hop.
