Today, the Stampin’ Creative Team are Gift Wrapping an abundance of inspiration for you.
A very warm welcome to today’s hop, where this month we are Gift Wrapping our Inspiration and mine come with Warm Hugs.
We’ve some fabulous patterned papers in our Mini July-December Catalogue for Christmas. Not wanting anything overly traditional, I chose this Mossy Meadow paper that I’ve coupled with Crushed Curry and Copper.
A Folded Gift Box
This box is a fun fold that I made way back when I first started to do. Craft Fairs. It was a fun fold to create whilst passers-by would stop and watch. The Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper offers wonderful patterns both fussy and simple. This project can be scaled up and down but was made from a full sheet of 12″ x 12″.
Once folded, the embellishments to this box, came from the Warm Hugs Bundle. I trimmed down the scalloped trim from the Warm Wraps Dies to edge the front of the box and tied with Metallic Ribbon. This ribbon comes from our Gilded Autumn Suite and comes as a combo with a Grosgrain Mint Macaron Ribbon.
The layered labelling to the top came from the Warm Hugs Stamp Set you see here. The sentiment layer was stamped in Early Espresso onto Crumb Cake Cardstock. All very simple, allowing the elegance of the box to sing.
A Feminine Gift Bag
If this were more a box for a man’s pair of socks or a tie, I wanted something a little more feminine. The fabulous All Dressed Up Dies were perfect for a feminine gift bag. The Dies help to cut this gorgeous little tote bag, complete with stitched straps and even the buckles. I die cut the buckles from our Brushed Metallic Foil Cardstock to tie in nicely with the ribbon.
A pop of Crushed Curry again helped to lift the colourway for this project that I finished off with some tissue paper to disguise the gift inside.
These projects would look wonderful in so many papers/colours and for so many occasions. I hope your gifts will be beautifully wrapped once you’ve seen the inspiration from today’s hop.
