Let’s Get Hopping #37 – Gifts

The Let’s Get Hopping Team are bringing you an abundance of Gifts today.

Thank you for joining us and if you’ve hopped over from the lovely Eimear then I’m sure she has shared fabulous ideas for Gifts. It’s all about Gift Giving today and that, of course, can come in many different forms. I decided to share the creation of a note card wallet of Thank you Cards. This wallet was made from one sheet of Designer Series Paper with sufficient left to add detail to the envelopes.

One sheet of  Designer Series Paper (8″ x 12″) folded creates a wallet for a set of notecards and envelopes. Adding a side flap and a ribbon bow, I embellished the front simply. The Label me Fancy Punch helped give the perfect sized label that I heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.

Colouring the Holly and Berries

The Plush Poinsettia Specialty Papers offered the best textured Holly leaves that I added Garden Green Ink to. Our Alcohol Blends Pens allow us to colour in the Beaded Pearls to whatever colour we like. Colouring them Red, gave the best Holly. Berries to add to my project.

Removing the ribbon and opening the wallet, reveals the inside wallet where I’ve added four simply stamped and embellished Thank you cards.

I kept all the colours the same as the front of the wallet, including the Gold Heat Embossed sentiment that I cut down.

Such a simple little card, I added more detail to the envelopes by using the leftover paper to embellish the flap.

Change up the papers and stamp set and you could have yourself a completely different gift.
