Today I share with you the cards I made during last week’s Facebook Live. I’d been asked to demonstrate how I had created the Poppy Moments card that I’d made for Remembrance this year. Switching things up, I made a similar second card using the new Garden Wishes Bundle.
I shared this Remembrance card as part of the Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop a few weeks back and it caused quite a stir. Many asked how I had created it, so I decided the easiest way to show was through a Facebook Live Tutorial. If you wanted to see the original post and list of products used for that, you can view it HERE.
It was a process of Sponging, Brayering, Ink Dragging and Splattering that helped to create this.
I wanted to show an alternative using different colours and Dies from our January to June Mini Catalogue. Dandy Garden Dies form part of the Garden Wishes Bundle and offer some fabulous die shapes that look amazing as a stand-alone piece. I loved the blue and green tones that I created here. Something quite vibrant in comparison to the dark atmospheric background I created with the Poppies.
If you missed this Facebook Live, you can see the video either through my Facebook page or Youtube Channel here.
Place an order with me and I’ll set aside a copy of the upcoming Mini Catalogue to send out mid to late December. There are some beautiful products in there that you’ll not want to miss out on.
I hope you have enjoyed my share with you today and liked seeing this background technique in a series of different colours.
