Upon the launch of the current Mini Catalogue, I created these two cards for my online Launch Party. Warm Hugs from Stampin’ Up! offers such cute little images to scatter over your projects that I couldn’t wait to get using them.
The Bundle offering for this stamp set comes with dies that wrap around little coffee cups but it was more the stamp set that I was interested in. I still tend to buy the bundle so wanted to make good use of the dies.
There is a scallop trim to the Dies that I decided to use down the edge of this first card. It may well be curved but used with some strategic placement of the sentiment panel and you wouldn’t notice. The holly comes from the Sweetest Borders Dies.
I just love how the Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folder dots reflect the same as the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper. It’s all just so pretty. These papers are currently on offer with a 15% discount during the month of October 2020.
I stamped a whole line of little Mugs, Candy Cane and Trees, using one for my first card and many others for my second.
Yes, it was a lot of die-cutting but a great way to use up whisper white offcut strips. By only inking up the end of a sentiment, I was able to repeatedly stamp with the word Cocoa around the oval aperture.
The Snowflake adhesive-backed Embellishments added that final scattering of bling.
I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to share these cards with you but I do hope you like my offering today and that perhaps you’ll consider this Bundle.
