You Can Create it this month with a Mini Paper Pumpkin Box and some Peony Garden Papers.

August’s Papercraft Pack looks a sparse pack of a Mini Paper Pumpkin Box, some Peony Garden Paper and a few embellishments.

What could you create with this I hear you ask? Well, along with the backup packet of incidental supplies and some inspiration, I came up with this.

I wanted to turn the Paper Pumpkin Box into a Book. I added a larger front and back layer and used a sheet of the In Color DSP to create a curved spine. A flash of the Champagne Foil added an elegant touch.

The sentiment to the front was a simple sentiment from the Prized Peony Stamp Set. I used this same greeting on the Tags that I made for inside.

Using a sheet of the Gray Granite cardstock from the incidental packet, I made an internal divider. The tags fitted one side and the Linen Thread the other. To reflect the pattern on the front of the book, I stamped a simple flower in Whisper White Ink and kept the greeting simple.

I made the top of each tag to reflect that of the Book spine by using the same paper and flash of foil. I made some simple adjustments to the outside edge of the Mini Paper Pumpkin Box for an easier closure.

A Ribbon tie and my project were complete, I was amazed at how much could be made with so few supplies.
