This month the Stampin’ Fancy Friday Team have a Two Stamp Challenge, where we pull together two stamp sets for our finished project.
Wanting to step outside of my comfort zone, I thought I’d create using an Autumnal Harvest feel. I pulled two stamp sets off of my shelves, Gather Together and Basket of Blooms. These sets worked beautifully together, allowing me to fill the basket with pumpkins and other harvest goodies.
With the basket stamped, coloured with Blends and fussy cut, I elevated it using Stampin’ Dimensional Foam pads. This helped me to slot in the fussy cut pumpkins behind and stamp the wheat to the scalloped background layer.
Harvest colours and added texture reminded me of winter woollies. The yellow scalloped border was created by cutting down a sentiment panel. This trick helps pull things together a little more.
I really hope you like my share and I hope you’ll look at how well your stamp sets coordinate with each other. Perhaps you’ll create something and share it with the Stampin’ Fancy Friday Team through our Instagram feed. We’d love to see what you might create.
Happy Crafting
