All Star Tutorial Hop – Playful Alphabet Patterns

The All Star Tutorial Design Team have been playing with patterns, and for me, the Playful Alphabet Dies.

Welcome to a whole new month with the All Star Tutorial Team. This month we are sharing some playful designs, as we create with the Playful Patterns Suite from the Annual catalogue. This suite offers a fun stamp set, some vibrant papers with embellishments and some fabulous Playful Alphabet Dies. These Alphabet Dies could team up with so many other stamp sets to create any sentiment and look you like.

I wanted to create a Birthday card more for a male teen today. Something that is more contemporary, young and fun.

I chose to use a vibrant paper for the background and picked out two bold colours to die cut the lettering. Foam Adhesive Sheets were used for the top layer of letters and basic Adhesive sheets for the Navy shadows. Layering them up and off setting them helped to give the appearance of a shadow.

The panel of whisper white that acts as a speech bubble was embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. A simple card with an abundance of possibilities depending upon what wording you’d like to use.
