Paper Pumpkin – Box of Sunshine Alternatives

Last week’s Facebook Live had me sharing Sunshine from the Paper Pumpkin kit that’s available to purchase this month. An exclusive offering this month and while stocks last, this kit offers a Box of Sunshine. Full of sunny colours and cheerful. images, this box of sunshine is sure to raise a smile or two.

Priced at £20. This kit offers a great Stamp Set and Inkspot, plus a variety of Card Bases, envelopes, images, labels and embellishments. It’s a gorgeous kit and creates no less than 8 cards … but why stop there? There are loads of leftover pieces to play with, so I thought I’d make up one set of the cards as per the included instructions and create a few more cards of my own.

These first four cards are the designs that the kit suggests. I’ve changed up just one sentiment but otherwise made them as per the instructions and really like them.

Then I set to playing ….  Cutting up the card bases, embossing matting layers and bringing in other pieces from my craft stash to create yet more sunshine to share.

Here are two of the four cards I created, using the sun and the Pineapples. Deliciously vibrant and packing a punch of happiness, I loved creating these.

These final two focused on the Lemons within the kit. I loved the grounding black teamed with the clean white and crispness of the citrus yellow. They really do make me smile.

Four quite different cards to those suggested in the kit, it helps to show what others could do with the leftover pieces if they choose.
