Nativity Dies Two Ways for all year round use

I played with the Nativity Dies during a recent Facebook Live showing how you can use them all year round.

These Nativity Dies are just gorgeous and the moment I saw them, I knew I had to own them. A fabulous silhouette card was exactly what I could see immediately but also something quite different. These Dies have such great flexibility to use at other times of the year too.

My first card was a classic using the Dies as nature intended .. the perfect nighttime Nativity scene. Very simple with sponged Ink background sky and basic Black Die cut pieces. The sentiment came from a gorgeous Christmas set, For Unto Us.

It was this second card that I was most excited about creating. Using the same Nativity Dies I wanted to create a beach scene. One that reminded me of sundowners on a tropical beach somewhere. The stable die, made for the perfect gazebo with the palm trees surrounding. Again I used the Sponge Brayers to sponge up the sand, see and sky. A punched arc from a circle punch, helped me to create the sun.

The colour of the sea against the vibrancy of the sun slowly setting and the sand beneath just pops. This turned out just as I had hoped and together … A fabulous contrast. The sentiment came from Timeless Tropical.

Two very different cards, from one fabulous Die set. I hope this has made you look at your die and stamp sets in a different light. I love when there is longevity from something we buy for a specific season.
