We’re going Around the World on Wednesday and Shaking things up a little.
If you’ve hopped on over from my fabulous friend, Aurélie, then you’ll have already been spoilt to some great inspiration. I hope now to inspire you further.
I decided to shake things up with a Shaker Box and Easel Card using the Whale Done Bundle.
Hard to see here, but this box offers a Shaker element to the box lid. This whale can be seen through a porthole filled with clear bubbles. The Flowers for Every Seasons Embellishments offer great faux bubbles for a project like this.
Filling a little box with a token gift is the perfect way to say Thanks a ton. The Whale is punched from the Designer Series Papers from the same suite.
I created this easel card to simulate the port hole that I decided to feature a turtle in. The fold for this is simple, yet ever so effective. A few strategically placed sequins give a shimmery lift to the water area.
You can see the shaker bubbles a little more in this last photo. I loved creating these, such fun.
I hope this has inspired you to add your shaker element to a different area of your project and not just the front of a card.
