We’re going Around the World on Wednesday and Casing another Around the World Team Member.
A warm welcome from those who have hopped over from my lovely friend Aurélie from France and a warm welcome to those starting this hop around the world here. You’re in for a treat today, as we’ve some special guests that you’ll discover as you hop Around the World on Wednesday.
Who am I CASing?
Cheryl Hamilton’s blog is packed with inspiration and I have the honour of CASing her work today. What is it to CASE? To Case is to Copy And Share Everything … or to Copy And Selectively Edit giving credit to the originator.
I discovered this beauty on Cheryl’s blog and felt inspired to get creative.
The layout and the colours inspired me, as they wouldn’t have naturally been colours I’d have been drawn to. Loving a challenge, I was determined to create with them and I’m pleased I did.
Using the entire All Things Fabulous Bundle, I used this gorgeous detailed Die Cut piece for my backing before adding my floral cluster. This cluster is packed with detailed two and three-step stamped flowers.
Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Crushed Curry, Bumblebee and Old Olive were the inks that I used. Some flowers were stamped directly onto the card and some onto white cardstock and die cut. A very simple sentiment panel was added on Dimensionals that peeped out from this cluster.
These colours worked beautifully with this three-step stamping set. The depth created is so detailed. I loved the little Bumblebee flower popping out at the top.
Not colours I would have naturally been drawn to, I absolutely love how this has turned out. Thank you, Cheryl, for allowing me to step outside of my comfort zone and use your beautiful work to inspire me.
Now let us see who has inspired Tina, who is next up in the hop around the world.
Enjoy your day and do stay safe.
