Crafting Live for Lovely You

This week I was crafting Live for Lovely You. During my weekly Facebook Live this week, I inked up and played with the fabulous new stamp set, Lovely You. I adore the fonts within this set, the sentiments and the very useable little images.

At the end of what had been quite a wet and miserable day, I wanted to inject some playful colour. I’m not a Pink girl generally but wow, Magenta Madness is quite madly fabulous! Teamed up with a few other punchy colours, this card just sang to me. Distance from friends during difficult times can be hard, so I wanted something bright and cheerful.

I started my Live with this quick panel card with some playful stamping on. Ever so quick and simple it really came together ever so quickly. If you buy the Lovely You Bundle, you’ll receive the Pick a Punch double punch. This punch creates layering labels and tags, its great and perfect for the sentiments in this set.

At the end of my Live, I did a spot more random stamping by stamping all over a matting layer and adding a very quick white on black, embossed sentiment panel.

The Black and White Twine used comes from the new Playful Pets Suite.

I created two versions of this next card but I’m only sharing the one here today. I randomly stamped each image across a white matting layer in Smoky Slate Ink, working my way around a pre-stamped and die cut sentiment. Die Cutting this heart from the Stitched Be Mine Die Set, I replaced the centre of the heart with a colourful centre and edged it with a scalloped Magenta Madness trim. This was my personal favourite. I love the combination of spotlighting on the heart but continuing the pattern across the card.
