I can’t get enough of the new Blossoms in Bloom stamp set from the New Annual Catalogue. Used it last night during my Facebook Live, I showed it teamed with some fun Watercolour Stripes.
I have used this fabulous stamp set a lot lately and decided to merge some designs to create a new one. With no idea really where it was taking me or if it would work, I set to work to enjoy the journey.
I took some Stampin’ Write Markers and drew lines onto a sheet of dampened down watercolour paper. Bleeding this out with an Aqua Painter helped create this ombre effect of each stripe. Oh, the possibilities of what colours to use.
You could say it’s somewhat punchy in colour and it’s not always my first choice to opt for something so vibrant but on a dreary day, it was so welcome to see a sunny card. You certainly can’t deny the sunshine feel of Mango Melody.
This second card I alternated the stripes and switched up the flower colour to be that of Melon Mambo. I wasn’t so sure about this one until I walked into the room this morning and saw it singing right back at me. Oh so bright and cheerful.
The options are endless when you have a pack of our Marker Pens and an Aqua Painter. This could almost become addictive, just like this stamp set. Oh … did I say it’s only £20 and a must-have with all the Go To Sentiments that it offers? Seriously, check it out on page 51 of the New Catalogue and if you don’t have one … then get in contact and I’ll be happy to sort you out.
I hope you like my share today of what I created last night with your company. It was such fun and to those who tuned in Live or afterwards, thank you.
