When a cup of Tea Together would help but a card will have to do, use Tea Together.
A good chat with a friend over a cup of tea is often one of the best tonics. Here I used the retiring Tea Together stamp set and stamped onto Woven Threads Paper to create a matching tea set. With coordination being the strong point for Stampin’ Up! I used the coordinating Blends Pen to help add shadow. Paper piecing can be fun and I did consider adding a white border to the saucer or white handles.
Inspired by the recent VE Day celebrations, this card had to be Red, White and Blue.
A traditional Red and White checked table cloth was created by using the Buffalo Check Background stamp. The Decorative Ribbon Border Punch was just perfect to add a frill.
You can use a Blender Pen and Real Red Ink from the lid of your ink pad to colour in, as I did here with the flowers.
Hoping to be able to share this cup of tea with a friend or two soon, meanwhile, my virtual Facebook Lives and my Virtual Catalogue launch will have to do.
See you soon, when you can pop the kettle on.
